ETH in ETHWarsaw stands for Ethereum
ETHWarsaw is part of a global decentralized innovative movement. Current discussions around the Ethereum Foundation don't allow us to stay aside. This statement reflects our thoughts and mission.
When we decided to organize a crypto conference in Warsaw, we knew we wanted it to be ETHWarsaw. We consciously chose this name to focus on the Ethereum ecosystem, not blockchain in general, not other ecosystems, and not Bitcoin. We wanted to be part of a global movement championing decentralization, innovation, and community.
Like many other organizations around the globe: ETHDenver, ETHCC, and countless smaller initiatives like ETHTaipei, ETHBerlin, and ETHPrague, we embody the beauty of decentralization. It's not just about the Ethereum Foundation. Decentralization empowers individuals and communities to take initiative and create something meaningful. You don’t need to wait for anyone to tell you what to do.
We're in it for the tech... and for the unicorns
We are a community of builders. We gather at events to collaborate, share knowledge, and improve the products and services shaping our ecosystem.
At ETHWarsaw, one of our core principles is clear: we don’t talk about prices. There’s no shilling from the stage; we’re committed to keeping it that way.
We deeply believe in Ethereum’s core values. Decentralization puts power back into the hands of individuals. Equal access means financial tools and services are available to everyone, regardless of borders. And permissionlessness ensures that anyone, anywhere, can build and innovate without gatekeepers.
We strive for a free and open economy for everyone, no matter where you are or what your government does.
This is the culture that brought us unicorns, mermaids, and kitties. And, honestly, we still prefer them to farts.
We want to make the world a better place
Sometimes in crypto, it’s tempting just to make easy money and there is no shame in hodling or trading. If this is what you like, go for it. The thing is, there are many other ways to make money, and not too many ways to be part of change. Those who understand it, know the real joy that lies in building. The act of creating and innovating is magical and rewarding. It's about solving real-world problems, empowering people, and reshaping systems to be fairer and more inclusive.
Ethereum is more than technology; it’s a tool to create meaningful change. It enables decentralized finance that opens doors for the unbanked, supports artists through NFTs, funds public goods through DAOs, and drives innovation in governance, identity, and sustainability.
At ETHWarsaw, we celebrate this potential. We believe that by focusing on long-term impact and collaboration, we can push boundaries and unlock a better future. Together, we can build tools and platforms that make a difference, not just for ourselves but for generations to come.
ETHWarsaw exists to unite like-minded, curious people who see the endless possibilities Ethereum offers. It’s a space where dreamers and doers come together to share ideas, build solutions, and turn visions into reality.
